Yousif Al Nowais is a prominent business leader and investor based in Abu Dhabi, with an extensive track record across the Oil & Gas, energy, infrastructure, and investment sectors.

He serves as Chairman and Managing Director of Arab Development (ADE) — a diversified company active in oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, engineering, and energy services. Under his leadership, ADE has built strategic partnerships with internationally recognised firms including Baker Hughes, MAIRE Tecnimont SpA, Linde AG, Cunado, DeNora, and Parsons Brinckerhoff, among others.

Mr. Al Nowais is also the Co-Chairman of Al Nowais Investments LLC, an investment firm with both regional and international holdings. Its portfolio spans multiple sectors, including pharmaceuticals (Pharmatrade LLC) and electrical & mechanical engineering (Danway).

Beyond these roles, he holds leadership positions in several major companies such as Rotana Hotel Management, and Archirodon BV. He also serves as a board member for key institutions including Al Dhafra National Insurance and Al Ain Sports Club.

Previously, he also served as Managing Director and Board Member of Al Maabar, a landmark Abu Dhabi–based real estate investment and development consortium focused on regional and international projects.

Mohammed Yousif Al Nowais is a board member of Al Nowais Investments and holds multiple senior executive and directorship roles across the group's operating companies. His responsibilities span business development, infrastructure, power generation, and energy-related investments.

He currently serves in leadership roles at Arab Development, TAQANA Energy Solutions, Gulf Compound Blending, AMEA Power, and Danway, contributing to portfolio growth, strategic partnerships, and sector expansion across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Earlier in his career, Mohammed worked in private equity and corporate banking, including roles at Al Waha Capital and HSBC. He holds a bachelor degree of Arts and Sciences with a double major in Economics, Business Management and Earth Sciences from Boston University and brings a commercially grounded, execution-focused perspective to board governance.

HE. Saud Hassan Al Nowais was the longest serving Commercial Attaché "Counselor" for the United Arab Emirates to the United States of America. Appointed in July of 2009, he worked closely in assisting Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba in strengthening the bilateral trade relationship between the US and the UAE. Saud spent 17 years operating at all levels of government and business in a continued effort to bring prosperity and growth to both economies as well as facilitate the development of commercial relationships between the two nations.

Previously, Saud held a managerial position at the Executive Affairs Authority of Abu Dhabi (EAA) in the Economic Department. He worked on energy-related projects and programs, such as oil and gas initiatives, alternative sources of energy and the UAE's nuclear program. He also worked on environmental and social issues in tandem with industry representatives to affect positive change throughout the country. The Executive Affairs Authority is a government entity that supports the President of the UAE, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Privately, Saud holds several board seats and is regarded as the leading Emirati "Early-Stage Venture Capital investor" having invested personally in over 30 funds with an exposure to over 700 venture financed portfolio companies. Saud is the Vice-Chairman of Nowais Capital, and founder of Epic Padel USA.

Saud completed a master's degree in Strategic Intelligence & Security Studies from the U.S. National Defense University Fort McNair — College of International Security Affairs in Washington, DC. He obtained his bachelor's degree in International Relations from the American University of Sharjah (AUS). Saud graduated from the American Community School of Abu Dhabi (ACS).

Ahmed Nasser Al Nowais is the Chief Executive Officer of 22/x and a second-generation family office leader with a strong entrepreneurial and investment-driven background. He is also the Founder and CEO of Annex Investments, a pioneering hybrid venture single-family office headquartered in the UAE.

A licensed attorney with a Master of Laws (LLM) from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, Ahmed combines legal expertise with venture capital execution. He is a founding board member of the Emirates Angel Investors Association, a member of the Family Business Council Gulf, and was named Investor of the Year by Entrepreneur Middle East in 2023.

Ahmed is a frequent keynote speaker and recognized thought leader on venture capital, entrepreneurship, and the evolution of the UAE startup ecosystem, with engagements including WEF Davos.

Yasmin Almostehy is a senior strategist with over two decades of international experience across strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem development. She works closely with institutional investors, family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and government entities to facilitate market entry, strengthen partnerships, and support the scaling of businesses across regions, with a particular focus on the Middle East.

Her experience spans the finance and venture capital ecosystem, where she has held leadership roles advancing industry collaboration, strengthening governance frameworks, and supporting the growth of private capital markets. She has led initiatives that bring together investors, policymakers, and business leaders, creating platforms for collaboration and long-term value creation.

Earlier in her career, Yasmin held corporate leadership roles at DHL Express and Zain Group, where she designed and managed programs focused on sustainability, social impact, and employee engagement across emerging markets.

Recognized for her ability to align diverse stakeholders around clear objectives, Yasmin combines strategic insight with execution capability, operating across sectors and geographies to drive meaningful outcomes. Having worked across four continents, she brings a global perspective grounded in cultural fluency and practical experience.

Yasmin holds a Master's in Project Management from George Washington University and a Bachelor's in International Relations from American University in Cairo.

Imran Shuaib is a strategic operator and ecosystem architect with more than 20 years of experience across energy, industrial operations, and emerging technology.

As Chief Strategy & AI Officer at 22/x, Imran is laying the foundations of Al Nowais Family's next-generation venture, to channel the group's legacy infrastructure, relationships, and capital into the next wave of technology and industrial disruption.

In parallel, as Senior Director at Arab Development, Imran focuses on group company governance and strategic partnerships in O&G Projects in the energy sector. His mandate is to translate relationships and opportunities into long-term strategic value, while positioning Arab Development as a catalyst for industrialization in the UAE.

Before joining Arab Development, Imran spent 16+ years across the ADNOC Group. As Chief of Staff for the EVP of Growth & Industry, he established the operating models, performance management and build out of ADNOC's new value chains, Hydrogen Business, Ta'ziz, and XRG. Earlier, he supported the formation and structuring of ADNOC Group Capital Projects and provided delivery assurance on a $120+ billion portfolio of major capital projects. Prior to that, he served in the Executive Office of the GCEO where he mapped the realization of $20+ billion savings recognized from a group-wide cost transformation initiative, Project Light. Moreover, as a founding member of Al Dhafra Petroleum, reporting to the CEO, he supported the development of the JV and its corporate functions from the ground up.

As a natural technophile and systems thinker, Imran has a strong affinity for digital transformation and actively champions the use of AI, data analytics, and emerging technologies. Coupled with his ability to synthesize multidimensional information into clear strategic direction, Imran thrives in complex environments to help organizations navigate and unlock scalable growth.

Imran holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.

Mohammed is a seasoned investment executive with over two decades of experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A, and finance. He has led transactions and strategies across energy, infrastructure, industrials, real estate, technology, and other key sectors.

As Chief Investment Officer of Al Nowais Investments, he oversees a global portfolio spanning emerging and developed markets, where he designs and executes investment strategies for acquisitions, portfolio growth, and dispositions.

Previously, Mohammed served as Senior Director of Investments and M&A at AMEA Power, a renewable energy company operating across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, where he helped scale the company into a leading regional renewable energy player. He spearheaded M&A, strategy, investment, and financing initiatives, and notably secured its first institutional equity raise from the SoftBank Group.

Before AMEA Power, Mohammed was a founding member and Managing Director at Investbridge Capital, a DIFC-based private equity firm. He directed the group's direct investments, driving growth in AUM, sector diversification, and overall scale. Earlier in his career, he held a range of roles in private equity and investment banking.

Mohammed holds a Juris Doctor in Law and an MBA from Chapman University, as well as a BA in Political Science from the University of California. He also completed the Executive Program in Infrastructure & Project Finance at Harvard University.

Nasser Al-Nowais is an investment professional and entrepreneur focused on building and scaling high-growth businesses, specifically in early stage technology, venture capital, and the regional investment landscape.

As Co-Founder of Epic Padel, he helped lead the company's launch, overseeing strategy, operations, and partnerships. Previously, Nasser was an Investment Associate at AAF VC, where he focused on early-stage investments, conducting due diligence, sourcing opportunities, and supporting portfolio growth across multiple sectors.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston and brings a global perspective shaped by experience across North America and the Middle East.
